Kike Forero
As a kid, I was always surrounded by cameras, lenses, flashes, and images of landscapes, portraits of friends and family. Photography was my father's hobby, and over the years, it grew on me.
I remember how every time we had visitors, we’d end up flipping through the family photo albums. Smiles filled the living room, and that’s when I realized just how important my father’s hobby was to all of us. It wasn’t just a simple click—it was memory-making. It was history.
Little by little, I learned about composition, lighting, cameras, and lenses. By high school, I had become the designated photographer on every trip with friends.
When I received my class schedule during my first year studying Advertising at university, I saw photography listed among my courses. That’s when I knew—my father’s hobby wasn’t just a childhood memory. It was the foundation of my future.
